Siem Reap in April 2023

In recent months, tourism in Siem Reap has increased and the city has become a popular destination again. The city regularly hosts beautiful events and the next event will be Songkran festival – the Cambodian water festival.

Songkran is a traditional festival celebrated in April. In Siem Reap this year it will be celebrated in a big way and events and water fights will take place all over the city.

Besides the Songkran festival, there are many other reasons why you should visit Siem Reap. The city has a rich history and culture to explore. The famous temple of Angkor Wat is a must-see for any visitor and there are many other temples and historical sites to visit. TukTuks and stores are open again in large numbers.
