Tourist visa in Cambodia extended due to Corona

On April 3, 2020, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cambodia published a decree. In this document, all tourists who entered Cambodia in the period from January 1, 2020 to April 3, 2020 will be granted an automatic extension of the tourist visa.

Accordingly, there will be no overstay fees. This fee is usually 10 USD per day after the visa expires.

This arrangement is really very friendly and unbureaucratic compared to other countries in Southeast Asia.

This waiver is valid indefinitely until revoked.
